Broad Spectrum Release

The soil is the medium from which plants derive much of what
it needs to live. The soil is a dynamic structure that plays host to much more
than just grains of sand and roots. Soil has a negative electrical charge that
is responsible for holding the positively charged ions (fertility) in the soil
colloid. This charge is very low when talking about USGA specified greens.
Consequently, the ability of the soil to hold fertility is also very low.
When you introduce fertility from a chemical source, it goes
into solution rapidly and moves with the water. In low CEC soils, much, if not
most, of this fertility hits the drain tile within hours of application and
does very little to support the plant. The turf catches as much fertility as it
can. When fertility is derived from Nature Safe these cations are held in an
insoluble form either as an organic compound or, ultimately, immobilized in the
bodies of the soil micro-flora. This means that the fertility from Nature Safe
is not subject to leaching. The cations are released slowly and consistently
over the next several weeks. Nature Safe provides an even feed and less stress.
The high population of beneficial microbes promotes improved soil structure and
disease reduction after regular use of Nature Safe.
Another important feature of fertility derived from Nature Safe is the broad spectrum of micronutrients that are released. All the cations (Calcium, Phosphorus, Sulfur, Iron, Magnesium, Manganese, Boron, etc.), that are a part of bone, blood, feather, fish, pork, poultry, and beef meals are immobilized, chelated, and then released slowly and consistently. This broad spectrum of feed is validated through tissue analysis that shows improved turf health. The improved water and salt management and extremely efficient fertility make Nature Safe the Natural Choice this summer.
