Activated Sewage Sludge

How It Is Formulated
Human and industrial waste by-products.

How It Is Made
Uses a series of screening and centrifugal processes to remove debris, oil, grease, and grit. Waste water settles to remove additional organic matter. Remaining waste water is then oxygenated to increase the aerobic breakdown of the remaining biomass. This microbe degraded organic matter settles and thickens and excess water removed. Final biomass produces a thick fiberous cake which is then kiln dried at very high temperatures to kill all remaining microorganisms or pathogens.

Product Characteristics
High in denatured proteins which are high WIN sources.

Denatured proteins offer some initial color response from the iron found in this product, but mainly add organic biomass to the soil.

May contain minor elements such as zinc, copper and iron.

Very low salt index that will not burn or track when applied at high temperatures.

High in organic matter.

Low odor.
